The INTERNATIONAL   JOURNAL OF INTERNET EDUCATION (IJIE) is an online, multi-media, academic journal that adheres to the highest standards of peer review and engages established and emerging scholars from anywhere in the world. IJIE is an interdisciplinary journal that is open and welcoming to contributions from readers. IJIE is a peer-reviewed international journal directed towards the study and research of e-learning in its diverse aspects: pedagogical, curricular, sociological, economic, philosophical and political.
The IJIE aims to serve as an international forum to facilitate current research, practice and development of e-learning in education. it is a broadly conceived journal with a focus on research, evaluation of current practice, and the underlying theories of e-learning in its diverse forms.
The journal publishes six kinds of submissions:
  1. quality academic articles
  2. open source articles
  3. international policy reports
  4. field  research notes
  5. reviews
  6. interchanges 

IJIE (ISSN 1687-5796 )is an online-only journal published four times a year at www.ijie.net.egArticles are conventionally typeset and appear as familiar journal articles; proofs are sent to the authors as PDF files
